A family dog was killed in a house fire in Cold Spring this morning.
Officials say the fire started at a home on Weaver Lane around 2:30 a.m.
Three family members heard the smoke alarms and evacuated. Unfortunately, the family’s dog did not make it out.
Officials are still investigating what might have caused the fire.
