Legacy was created as an initiative of Forward Quest on January 1, 2000.

The purpose behind Legacy’s creations was to provide a forum that would offer the next generation of leaders the support and development needed to be successful in their careers and personal life while contributing positively to the region. Since that time Legacy has engaged with the Greater Cincinnati/Northern KY region by efforts such as Paint the Town, Legacy 5K Rock and Run, mentoring, and professional development sessions.

Legacy partnered with the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce on January 1, 2008 in performance and fulfillment of its mission.

The mission of LEGACY is as follows: LEGACY encourages young leaders who embrace the principles of meaningful participation, effective citizenship and extraordinary imagination to unite in an effort to enhance the quality of life and economic well-being in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati communities.
