With the onset of chillier temperatures today, I’m finally ready to start transitioning my home for the Fall season. It’s time to put away our “Summer Boardwalk” candle and move onto pumpkin scents and cozier decor. When moving into Fall, I like to incorporate multiple textures to create a layered look. I start with what I already have – sorting through the closets and pulling out pillows, throws and accents in darker colors.  Then I give myself permission to buy a couple new accents. This year is all about the neutrals and metallic – especially gold tones.

I pulled together a handful of items that have caught my eye this season. All of which are available at local retailers, so you can pick them up around town. Happy decorating, my friends!
