State bills target Newport’s RMR, other recycling facilities

Two bills have been introduced to the committee on committees that would affect recycling facilities in the state, with HB 197 requiring a notice of violation to be sent to the local governing body where the facility is located, and HB 91 requiring the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet to promote administrative regulations to implement a program to control explosions and combustion events at metal recycling facilities.

Kentucky Bar recommends suspension of former NKY attorney Ben Dusing

The Kentucky Bar Association recommended former Northern Kentucky defense attorney Ben Dusing receive a three-year suspension from practicing law, according to court documents filed Wednesday.
