The City of Covington’s Parks and Recreation Department has brought back its North Pole Express Mail Service, allowing kids to drop their letters to Santa in a drop box found in City Hall, and is also hosting a free community holiday event on Dec. 13.

Vandals target Memorial Park in Independence
Independence is experiencing an increase in vandalism at its parks, particularly Memorial Park, and is taking steps to prevent future incidents, including increased police presence, installing anti-graffiti paint and adding new cameras.
