Written by family law attorney and Kentucky State Rep. Stephanie Dietz.

It is with great excitement and a deep sense of gratitude that I announce my intention to run for re-election as your State Representative in 2024. Serving you in Frankfort has been a true honor, and I am committed to continuing the work we started together.

Over the past year, I have dedicated my time and energy to fighting for our families, small businesses, and the brave men and women who serve in our military. It has been a privilege to serve on key committees such as Judiciary, Families and Children, and Veterans, Military Affairs & Public Protection, where I have had the opportunity to advocate for the issues that matter most to our community.

One of my top priorities has been easing the financial burden on Kentucky families. I am proud to have joined my colleagues in the fight to lower taxes, providing much-needed relief to hardworking individuals and ensuring that our economy thrives. By championing HB 534, we have taken a huge step forward for small businesses like LINK right here in NKY by creating qualifications for digital news publications to be considered a paper of record. This not only supports local entrepreneurship but also fosters a robust and diverse media landscape.

Furthermore, I am deeply passionate about the safety and well-being of our community. In HB 535, I played a vital role in streamlining crime statistics to ensure the protection of domestic violence victims across Kentucky. By simplifying this process, we were able to enhance the effectiveness of our criminal justice system, providing a stronger support network for those who need it most.

Throughout my time as your State Representative, my driving force has always been a genuine desire to help people. I believe in the power of compassionate leadership, and I am proud to have been a voice for positive change in Frankfort. However, there is still much work to be done.

Kentucky is a state filled with incredible potential, but we face challenges that require unwavering dedication and a compassionate approach. I am committed to continuing my efforts to support our families, promote small business growth, and ensure the well-being of our veterans and military personnel.

In the coming months, I look forward to engaging with members of our community, listening to your concerns, and shaping a campaign based on your needs. Together, we can build a better future for all Kentuckians.

I humbly ask for your support and the opportunity to continue serving as your State Representative. Let us work hand in hand to create positive change and make a difference in the lives of our fellow citizens.
