The Alexandria Courthouse lawn will again be lit with dedicated trees this holiday season.
The Campbell County Historical & Genealogical Society sells trees to remember loved ones. Aside from the courthouse, new this year, Campbell Countians can also purchase a tree for the Wilder City Building lawn.
The deadline for tree orders is Sept. 30. They cost $85. Those interested in a tree can find the form here.
The lighting ceremony will be held at the Alexandria Courthouse on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 5:30 p.m., and the lighting ceremony in Wilder will be held on Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. The trees will be lit at dusk every evening through Jan. 6.
