By Trinity Walsh, College & Career Counselor, Highlands High SchoolÂ
WinterCon is a college, career, and future planning event for students in grades 8-11 and their families.  This year’s WinterCon 2020 event will be held on Saturday, January 11th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Highlands High School.  There is no need to sign up and all are welcome!
Attendees may review our event’s schedule in advance and make selections to participate in the sessions that are of most interest to them.
We are thrilled with a new edition to the schedule this year: a keynote address. Â Highlands High School will have the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished speaker, Dr. Ashish Vaidya, President of Northern Kentucky University. Â Dr. Vaidya will kick-off the event at 10:00 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Â Highlands High School is extremely excited to have someone who has become so invested in the Northern Kentucky community to come and speak with our students and families.
You will not want to miss this!
