Disabled American Veterans, also known as DAV, has named Arlinghaus Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning its Small Employer of the Year.

Family-owned and operated, Arlinghaus is based near DAV’s headquarters in Erlanger. 

Arlinghaus was selected for DAV’s national-level honor over numerous other businesses with up to 249 employees. The company partners with various veteran organizations to recruit and retain the best veteran talent. Those efforts include attending DAV job fairs, part of a nationwide employment program that connects veterans and spouses with employers who understand their experience and value.    

Recognizing veterans’ unique skills, Arlinghaus prioritizes character and potential. That’s why the company offers a no-cost apprenticeship program for candidates with no previous experience or civilian trade experience. 

As Arlinghaus grows to a second location near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, it is dedicated to hiring even more veterans to grow alongside them.
